Born the 2nd son of the Baron de Clava, Vir could not inherit his father's title and lands, but he could make a career in the church as a warrior priest. With his skills, and father's influence, Vir soon became a Monsignor, then Bishop and is well on his way to the rank of Cardinal.
When it comes time to battle evil, Bishop Vir Clava trusts in his powerful two-handed Battle Mallet "Anima Comprimens" (Soul Crusher) to smash home his message of redemption. As a man of the cloth, Bishop Vir Clava will never draw the blood of an enemy with a bladed weapon, as it is against the teachings of the church,
But crushing skulls and pulverizing bones with a club, mace or mallet is totally acceptable, as is wearing full body armor. Soon he will gain the red cap and cape of a Cardinal, till then he will continue to crush the enemies of the church for the further glory of God.
