The Jotunn Angrboda (She Who Brings Grief), whose very name put fear into the hearts of even the greatest Gods, birthed the three deadliest and most horrific monsters in the Norse World.
Her three greatest children were conceived through her joining with the God Loki.
The World Serpent Jormungard, Fenrir the terrible Wolf willing to swallow the World and Hel, the ruler of Helheim-the land of the dead, were from that coupling.
Angrboda bore countless lesser monsters, all for the final battle of Ragnarok.
Darkness, Chaos and Base Primal Forces are both her playthings and powerful weapons. She relishes the thought of using her powers and children to destroy the Gods when the final the conflict of Ragnarok comes. Till then, she waits and dreams of destruction.
