Afterwards they will establish their combined treasure hordes in one of the castles they captured in their hunts.
These are plastic pieces. for more info on the two lovers check below.

Red Dragon with Attitude

Sangusira is a young, bold, and aggressive red dragon with a major chip on her shoulder. Her parents just don't understand the needs of a teen (she has just entered her 13th decade) dragon to prove herself to her peers.
So, today is her first solo hunt, and woe to the man or beast she comes across for their blood shall be HERS!
Only then will her overprotective parents give Sangusira the freedom and respect she deserves. Now, where shall she begin her hunting...perhaps in that brightly lit town on the lake below.
Sangusira is a plastic piece I finished this morning.

Black Dragons Know they Are Beautiful

Marerittormkonge
"Fear my Beauty and Power" trumpets Marerittornkong (Nightmare Worm King), Lord of the Night.
Marerittornkong knows he is stunningly gorgeous, rich and fearsome.
No angle is not a lovely sight to his fellow dragons.
Soon he will seek a suitable mate..
although he realizes it will be a challenge to find one that is as matchless as he is.
No matter, Marerittornkong is willing to bless a lesser female with his favor for a quicky or two.
Marerittornkong is a plastic piece I painted in March.

Wow, you're not a big as your ego would imply blurts out our brave, and not to bright, cursed hoplite.

Cloud Dream Dragons

Hokage (Firelight), Hoshiakari (Moonlight) and Usuakaiki (Twilight) are three sibling cloud dragons.
Their specialty is to appear in the dreams of humans a warn them of future dangers.
Although most of the people they visit ignore these portents, those that do are rewarded with good luck.
These three pieces are plastic, and I finished they yesterday.

Which Came First the Caldron or the Egg

Tow interesting terrain pieces, the "Soup" caldron and a hatching baby blue dragon.
Did the heat from the pot warm up the egg enough for "Bebe Bleu" or was it the aroma of the boiling caldron bring on hunger pangs?
Now where could mommy...

or at least my next meal be?

Feed me...you don't want to make me mad!
What's cooking?
Looks like I'll have to try out the soup...

Both are plastic pieces I painted in May.

Kill a Dragon--No Problem

Sigurd is an old school hero, fearless, strong and not too bright.
Raised by the dwarf master blacksmith Regin, Sigurd looked to the old dwarf as both a father figure and medieval lord. When Regin was banished from his home by the dragon Fafnir (see: World Historyprof: I LOVE GOLD!), he looked to Sigurd as a tool for his revenge against the beast.
At first reluctant, Sigurd eventually agreed to kill the dreaded worm.
As Fafnir was prone to daily drink from a spring on a well-worn path, the hero came up with a plan to ambush the beast. Sigurd dug a hole in the path big enough to hide in. He then covered himself with branches and brushes and waited for Fafnir to make his daily walk. Taken unawares, the worm was quickly killed.
Coming in contact with the worm's blood, gave Sigurd a form of invincibility and the ability to understand the speech of birds. From the birds he learned that Regin planned to kill him and take the gold for himself. Sigurd was smart enough to realize the danger, killed the treacherous Regin and kept the treasure for himself. Soon Sigurd would face a greater challenge, the beautiful Brunhild. (see World Historyprof: Ja, Jeg Brunhild den Valkyrie for that story)
Sigurd is a plastic piece I painted this month.

I LOVE GOLD!

"This is MY GOLD, TOUCH IT AND DIE!"
So cries the former dwarf Fafnir as he protects his precious golden hoard.
Once a dwarf, Fafnir's greed fated him to become a dreaded worm (dragon).
For when his father Hreiomarr received a weregild (including the magic gold producing ring Andvari) from the Gods for the wrongful murder of his son Otr, Fafnir's greed was so great he killed his own father to steal this cursed gold.
Banishing his surviving brother Regin, Fafnir gathered his father's treasures and guarded them day and night.
As Fafnir's greed grew his physical form began to change until he became "Fafnir the Worm." Now he is solely concerned with protecting his blood-soaked golden wealth.
"Gold, one can never have enough gold" is his motto and his curse.
For he loves his gold so much he can never use it. He hordes unlimited wealth, yet as he can never spend it, it really has no more value than the rocks of his cave.
But greed begets greed and Fafnir's brother Regin has his own plans on how to kill Fafnir and gain the gold for himself...but that is a story for another day. (See: World Historyprof: Kill a Dragon--No Problem for that story)
Fafnir is a plastic piece that I painted in February.
