Resting Before the Big Game

Every profession sports player knows the importance of a good rest before taking the pitch. None know this better than Markis Ludvig av Blodsalskare, who always gets a good day's rest before every game.
As one of the key players on the Ventanor's Vampire Team, Markis relies on his two minions Morgonvakt and Dagvakt to make sure he is not disturbed and is awake in time to change for the game
And here is Markis Ludvig av Blodsalskare ready for Blood Bowl.

Balls, Balls Who has the Balls

The key to winning any Blood Bowl game is controlling the ball, no matter how dangerous said ball is to hold!.
Here we have three samples of Blood Bowl balls.
The flaming brazier is a Skaven poison fire ball. The other two are from the Lizardman team. The dangers of spikes and rock is obvious. The cracking egg isn't the danger, the extremely pissed venomous basilisk baby is the true danger. So, grab a ball, carefully, and SCORE.
These are plastic pieces that I painted this month.

Dark Elf Vampire, a Mach made in Blood Bowl Hel

Markis Ludvig av Blodsalskare is one of the rarest of vampires, a Dark Elf noble.
As such he was sought-after by both Dark Elf and Vampire Blood Bowl Teams.
In the end "blood" conquered lineage and Markis Ludvig av Blodsalskare became a passer for the powerful Ventanor's Vampire Team.
As the latest star Vampire to join the Ventanors, the team looks to be one of the top contenders this season. Let's get ready to rumble Blood Bowl style!

I Live up to my Name-Teroare Nocturna

Yes, I am the "Night Terror" Teroare Noctuna, the most dreaded Blitzer of the Ventanor Vampire Team. I haunt both the dreams and reality of my opponent's linesmen.
Their favorite view of me is my back as I plow through their lines and turn my violence upon the ball carriers, Ha-Haa-Haaaa!
Then it's off to the next "play" with more blood and terror. Oh, how I love Blood Bowl, the vampire's playground.
Teroare Noctuna is a plastic piece I painted in April for Richard's latest Blood Bowl Team. I have already painted him Lizardmen, Skaven (ratmen), Norsemen, Human and Orc teams (The last two were painted back at the turn of the century).

I Am a Linesman's Worst Nightmare

Baroness Gudrun Halsbitt is the best Runner on the Venator Vampire Blood Bowl team.
This is largely due to her tendency to rip helmets, and the occasional head, off the opposing linesmen who stand in her way.
Her ability to move at "supernatural" speeds is also a strong asset in Blood Bowl.
The Baroness is a plastic piece I painted in April.

Lambs to Slaughter, No, Minions Yes

Venators Vampire Blood Bowl Team linesmen Emme, Meeme, Minni & Luucas know the game is violent, bloody and many time fatal to the players. But this does not discourage these Vampire minions, for impressing their lords and ladies can earn both praise and rewards. Failure to play with their full heart and soul can lead to loss of one's heart in a most painful and fatal way. So, they play hard for their master's glory, and the minions own personal survival.
I painted these plastic minions in April.

Fresh Blood is the Best

"I Love Blood and Ball Games" shouts Count Hagar von Poftsange, Co-Captain of the Venators Vampire Blood Bowl team.
The count is so excited about the start of the bloody game he has partially transformed into a giant bat!
A transformation that is helping to hide the ball from his opponents. An advantage the count is using well as he scans the pitch for a likely victim to bean with the metal clad ball. Blood will soon fly, it is Blood Bowl you know.

Count Hagar von Poftsange is a plastic piece I painted this month.

Time for a New Ball, the Old One is too Bloody!

Every professional ball handler knows a good grip is important for game ball control.

Since blood is sticky it might be an advantage to a ball carrier.
But this is not true for Blood Bowl vampire players as they find the aroma of fresh blood quite distracting,
So out with the bloody ball, in with a new ball and on with the game.
These are plastic piece I painted this month.

Lose more Elves That Way

The mangled body of Dark Elf Ec'Dkar Burntstrr is yet another tragic example of a warrior's overconfidence in the face of ruthless foes.
His foolish single-handed assault upon the opponent's unbroken line has led to this unsurprising result.
If only he had heeded the coach's words, " For the Dark God's sake Use YOUR SPEED to stary an arm's length away," before he rushed out on to the pitch vs the Lizardman team of Commander Grrr Bnsmshrr.  Instead, Ec'Dkar ran straight into the arms of Commander Grrr Bnsmshrr and his Boneheads. Now his team is going to have to pay the expenses of a resurrectionists to reanimate the late Dark Elf as his father, Count Quk'Dth  Burntstrr. is one of the team owners. Oh well, maybe the rich, entitled, idiot will learn to follow his coach's directions in the future. NOT!
Commander Grrr Bnsmshrr, and his Bonehead lineslizards.
The luckless Ec'Dkar Burntstrr is a kit bashed plastic Blood Bowl piece I put together and painted last week.
