I Hunt Monsters By Night and Day

Be by the light of the Moon...
or the brights light of the Sun, Elsa Bloodstone is always hunting "Evil Monsters."
Following in the footsteps of generations of Bloodstone's, Elsa is a natural hunter of evil, for yes not all those called "monster" by humans are in fact evil.
Hit her skills and special enhanced weapons design to defeat "supernatural creatures," Elsa is uniquely suited for her chosen profession.
So sleep well tonight, for Elsa is hunting the evil you may never know was even a threat to you and yours.
Elsa is a plastic piece I painted this weekend.

My Mommy Told Me to Never Mess with Mummies

In the hot desert by the cool waters of the Nile, our brave and cursed hoplite, Hitkos Nuluk, happens upon another cursed soul-the mummy Imhotep. As Imhotep is and Egyptian, the Greek curse on Hiktos appears to be void in this meeting.
So, for once our warrior may freely turn his back on what was sure to be an exhausting battle in the burning Egyptian sun.  Time for a cool bath in the Nile thinks the tired Greek. He does know about Nile Crocodile's, right?

Hiktos is a 25mm metal piece I painted in the 1970's, Imhotep is a plastic piece from Atomic Mass Games that I painted earlier this year.

For more on Imhotep check here:

For the back story and previous challenges of Hitos Nuluk see here:

Yes It's Alive-It's Man-Thing

Out of the swamps comes a 'monster" with a human heart, Man-Thing.
Feared as much as misunderstood, Man-Thing seeks to live in peace but is instead hunted by those who are horrified by his inhuman visage.
Is it any wonder he prefers the solitude of the swamps and forests to the hatred and fear he faces from "civilized mankind."
May haps in the future humans will become more "humaine" to that which is strange to them.
Man-Thing is a plastic piece I finished yesterday.

Spiderman the Black-Suit

With his Black-Suit, Symbiote Spiderman becomes one with his "living costume."
Similar to the creature called "Venom,'" the symbiote black suit bonds with its wearer, considers itself "We" and grants addition superhuman strength to its new "partner."
This is a plastic piece I painted earlier this month.

Blade-Bane of Vampires

Blade (aka Eric Cross Brooks & frank Blade) a dhampir so proficient with martial arts and swords that he is able to overcome and destroy vampires.
In fact the main goal of his life is to eliminate that hated class of undead from the face of the Earth.
His superhuman strength and abilities and his immunity to the bite of a vampire have been of great assistance in his never-ending combat against the "Blood Suckers of the Night."
Although he most often hunts alone, Blade has been known to join other hunters from time to time.
Even S.H.I.E.L.D. has used him to help them in several dangerous situations, both official and clandestine.
Blade is a plastic piece I painted in March.

Bloody H'ell, its Abomination on a Rampage

Abomination, aka Emil Bronsky, the vile nemesis of Marvell hero's and especially the Hulk, is on another mission of destruction.
Once he was a criminal spy until he was exposed to a massive burst of "Gamma Radiation" while trying to steal military secrets.
The exposure would have killed most humans, but a fluke gene mutation saved his life and created the beast now known as "Abomination."
He has since turned his massive strength and durability to the side of self-gain, personal gratification and outright evil.
He has become he mortal enemy of the Hulk who he has fought countless times.
As no police force is his equal, the best they can do when Abomination appears is to evacuate the civilians call for help...
and pray some heroes come to save the day!
Abomination is a plastic figure from Atomic Mass Games that I painted Last week.
Here he is next to 25mm Brave & Cursed Hoplite Hiktos Nuluk for a size comparison:

Ghost-Spider is Here

Ghost-Spider (aka Gwendolyne "Grace" Maxine Stacy, Spider-Woman and Spider-Gwen) has all the standard powers of spider-man as well as the gliding skill and the ability to use a multiverse travel device.
As a native of Earth-65, Gwen was bitten by a radioactive spider and turned into the female version of the more famous Spider-Man. While some see her as a criminal and others a hero, she is actually just a conflicted youth trying to make the World a better place.
Ghost-Spicer is a plastic piece from Crisis Protocol that I painted this month.

Monsters, Monsters Everywhere

Brave Hoplite Hiktos Nuluk has found himself in a most unusual situation-surrounded by monster from the future.
Actually, facing off against a horrible beast, god or demi-god is very common for our poor cursed hoplite. (see World Historyprof: The Continued Adventures of Brave Hiktos Nuluk for his back story)  Engaged by four at a time seems a bit over kill.
Brave Hiktos Nuluk must battle the beasties Frankenstein's Monster and the Wolfman...
the Undead Imhotep Mummy...
and Undead Count Dracula the vampire...what's a brave hoplite to do!

The "Horror Monsters" are a special pack from Crisis Protocol by Atomic Mass Games, I painted them within the last month. Brave Hiktos Nuluk, who I use to show the size of creatures, is a metal 25mm piece I painted in the 1970's.
