Huitzilopochtli Needs Sustenance

Huitzilopochtli Priest Axoctal knows that the Sun & War God needs to be fed daily to keep the world safe. To supply Huitzilopochtli's needs the Aztecs constantly war with their neighbors for the human sacrifices needed to feed their god the most precious commodity in the World-human life,
Axoctal is an old 1970's Grenadier metal piece.

Target Acquired-Die Humanoid

When you want to takeout annoying humans, robots with no feelings or morals are always a good choice.
Such as the venerable, Atomo-Acme-Arms (A-A-A) 2099 LZY-1 mobile lazgun sentry.
She may be old, but LZY-1 is still reliable and able to put nice round holes though up to 40cm of steel.
With a fully charged powerpack LZY-1 is good for up to two Solar hours of heavy fire (one hour if defensive shields are used). LZY-1 is a perfect, cost effective, choice for colonial frontier patrol duty where Imperial Space Fleet forces are not immediately available.
Now A-A-A's new Cylon Prototype MK A-VIII is another story entirely. For while LZY-1 does need programing by local defense forces, the Cylon Prototype MK A-VIII is a fully self-aware unit with the latest 22nd century A-A-A Self Learning AI with the patented "Direct Obliteration Mechanic" (D.O.M.).

D.O.M. allows the unit to engage and destroy enemies on sight at their discretion. Thereby freeing the field commanders to address the needs of the entire battlefield instead of micromanaging each Cylon Prototype MK A-VIII field unit with constant operational command updates.
Just point your Cylon Prototype MK A-VIII towards the enemy and let them rampage their way to victory!
There's is no need to worry about power, as the Cylon Prototype MK A-VIII is equipped with the patented Optimized-Overcharges-Power-Source (O.O.P.S.) that will keep your unit in peak combat performance for 50 Solar years without a recharge. The Cylon Prototype MK A-VIII is ready for mass production that will drastically reduce cost, so don't wait, you can be sure you opponents won't!
Both are old 1970's metal pieces from Grenadier that I freshened up recently.

Emergency Robots of the 22nd Century

Mobile Hospital Robot, Dedicated Onsight Casualty (D.O.C.) ME-8 has seen many years of combat and EMT service.
For sure he is showing his age, but on the Space frontier new medical units are few and far between.
So, D.O.C. ME-8 may be a little "long in the tooth," he continues to serve those in medical need on the lonely colony of Betelgeuse IV.

Gas Automatic Suppression Pod (G.A.S.P.) HT-6 is the latest model of fire control robot from Fire Industries & Robotics Engineering Co. Nova Peking, Alpha Centauri.
The G.A.S.P. HT-6 is small yet extremely powerful and is able to tackle gas fires in most colonial habitats and governmental building.
Completely autonomous, the G.A.S.P. HT-6 can detect and respond to fires within a six-klick radius without and human interaction needed.
For all your fire needs count on G.A.S.P. HT-6, the firefighters friend.
G.A.S.P. HT-6 and D.O.C. ME-8 are old metal Grenadier pieces from the 1970's.

Blood for the Gods Gives them Life

Two Mexica-Aztec priests, Yaretzi and Xoctili, present the heart of their latest victim to the gods.
Aztec priests know that without the most precious of sacrifices, Human Blood, the gods will wither away and die. Therefore, only human sacrifices can save the World from the chaos and destruction the deaths of the gods would bring.
While every god needs human blood, some only require the sacrifice once a year.
Other, greater deities require a greater amount of human blood to prevent the destruction of the World. For those Gods, Yaretzi and Xoctili, are ready with their razor-sharp obsidian knifes to make the sacrifices need to prevent disaster.
Yaretzi and Xoctili are two old, circa 1970's, metal castings from Grenadier.

Look Me in the Eye and Die

The dreaded Cockatrice, part wyvern, serpent and rooster, so fearsome that it can kill with a look a touch or with its breath.
As hard to kill as they were deadly, they were fearsome creatures to face in combat.
This is an old 1970's metal piece from Grenadier. As with most Grenadiers from that period, it is a blocky design with limited design quality, but was fine for D&D gaming back then.

Even Skaven Need Prison Guards

Skrrr Wkmd prison guard 4th class, directs his latest charges in the slime covered lower depths of the dungeon cells.

Life as a lowly prison guard has few perks, bossing around prisoners is about all he has.

When his sift is finished he wanders the halls looking for extra food and pleasures, he rarely finds either. Skrrr often thinks what a sad life it is when you don't have the brains, strength, skills or friends in high places to improve your life.

Skrrr is an old Grenadier metal model that I recently painted.

Even My Slime Can Kill

Beware the evil-tempered Cochlea Mortis Bitumine (Snail of Death Slime) whose venomous skin and slime can kill even the strongest man.

Leaving a trail of corruption in its wake, the "Death Snail" focuses only on its next meal.

Slowly, the Death Snail passes a shield that failed to protect of one of his victims.

The Death Snail is a 1970's metal piece from Grenadier, I recently painted.

Strong Hearts Are Our Specialty

At the height of the Aztec (Mexica) Empire no position held greater status than that of high priest. Here are two, Cipac and Cectzin, who have just performed one of the most important rituals, removal of a human heart to feed the gods.

To the Aztecs nothing was more sacred than human life, so it followed that nothing was more suitable to keep the gods alive than human blood.

The greatest honor in the Empire was to be chosen as a human gift to keep the gods and the world safe.

These Aztec Priests are metal Grenadier pieces I painted back in the 1970's.

Can Elementals Really Look This Bad?

Believe it or not but these are supposed to be Water, Fire Wind and Earth Elementals Can Elementals Really Look This Bad, yup when there are blocky Grenadier castings like these.

I my defense, these were the only pieces I had available for my 1970's D&D Campaign. I replaced them asap once better casting like the Ral Partha Wind Elemental found here World Historyprof: Search results for water elemental

These are metal pieces that I painted in the 1970's.

Phantom of the Cauldron

When the wizard calls, the Phantom of the Cauldron must appear.
The Phantom is renowned for its ability to foresee the future.

The Phantom has gone by many "names" through the centuries, Delphi, Methuselah, Nostradamus, Vinci, Wells and a host of others. But beware, knowing what is coming always comes with a high price to pay.

This is an old Grenadier casting that I recently found in a bits box and painted up this month.

Pink Medusa Strikes Again

Two Orcs and a Dwarf have become the latest victim's of the deadly glaze of the of the fearsome "Pink Medusa." Unlike her "sisters," PM fines grey stone so "boooring," so she adds a tint of pinke to brighten up her victim's deaths.
The last sight PM's targets ever see...
The victims are metal (Orc's are Grenadier the Dwarf is Ral Partha) and Medusa (Monolith) is plastic I painted them this month and her in 2020.
