With skin the strength of steel and muscles to match, Colossus is a powerful force to fact the evil threats of the World.

Colossus believes his existence should be dedicated to making the lives of humans and mutants better.

In this area he is a reluctant hero, for he dislikes using his power for violence and only resorts to its use when necessary.

His quick four-legged delivery is much appreciated by the rank and file of the Royal Army of Terre de Betes.

After his delivery to the battlelines, he just as quickly returns to the supply depot for his next list of needed equipment.

Sgt. McBll is a plastic piece I painted this week.

Even Terre de Bettes needs a Master of Arms.

As Master of Arms to Queen Pmkn Zzbl, Baron Mskrt P. Mstrrms is always armed and watchful of the queen's safety.

Armed with the latest in hand firearms, the Baron packs a lot of wallop for his size.

He is justifiably proud of his worn and battered armour that has seen heavy duty in the queen's service.

The Jeep-Best Workhorse of the Allies in the Second World War

 

With at least 640,000 Jeeps made during the Second World War, it's not surprising that they were a common sight in every Allied army on every front. Rugged, well-built and reliable, the Jeep became the new mule/workhorse of the Allies military. Completing every conceivable job from recon to raiding, transporting to towing, ambulance to anti-air, the jeep did it all.

Here we have Pacific Theater USMC Jeep armed with the famous M2 Browning (Ma Deuce) .50 cal. heavy machinegun. Firing a massive 1/2-inch-wide bullet, the Ma Duce has been, and still is, a staple of the US Military since 1933. Effective against infantry, vehicles, lightly armored AFV's, aircraft and small boats, the Ma Deuce has been a popular choice in any firefight. 

The Jeep was a cheap and versatile way to get firepower and supplies to any hot spot on the line. With a speed of over 45 mph (72 km/p), the ability to haul over 1000 lbs. (454 kg) and travel in every combat environment, the Jeep was a welcome addition to any military motor pool.

After the war, many Jeeps became war surplus and served a double duty in the civilian realm. My own Uncle Herb used a Jeep at the Ranch for decades, doing sterling duty on the rolling hills and mountains of the Central California Coast. We still use the Jeep trails that he blazed in the 1940's, '50's and 60's. My favorite saying, he had about his trusty Jeep was "there are only two types of trees on the Ranch...those the Jeep can run over and those they can't...and there are darn few of those it can't."

Beware-Half a Zombie is just as Dangerous as a Full One

Even with only half a body, these Victorian Zombies are deadly foes to face.

They may not be fast, but they are relentless in their attacks.

Only total destruction of their remains bodies will stop their ceaseless craving for human blood, brains are a bonus treat.

Yes, I Collect Heads-Am I Not Kraven the HUNTER!

Long ago Sergi Kravinoff realized he had both a talent and love for hunting the most dangerous of game "superheroes."

Jungle, forest, suburban or city, the terrain doesn't matter hen Kraven is on the hunt.

He takes a trophy from each kill. Although he prefers heads, any unique item, like the rare Glacies  Pardus skin he wears, can be taken from his prey.

Is that the head of "Beast" he has collected or some lookalike? 

Kraven is a plastic piece from Crisis Protocol that I pained last week.

Advancing upon the Japaenes invaders, a section of Punjab Commonwealth troops fight for both the Empire and the safety of India.

Their officer is Lt. Douglas Bravemore III. As a third-generation family office in the Indian Army, Douglas feels a strong responsibility and camaraderie with his men. He will not let them attempt anything that he would not also try, an action that his men respect and wish that more commanders would follow.
