Figures Painted in February

 

First piece finished in February was this Dark Angels Terminator Standard Bearer for Warhammer 40k. 

With another attack of the flu and other medical procedures my painting has really suffered in 2026. I only finished 46 pieces.

40K-16 Terminators. 19th Century-10 British 60th Rifles. Game Terrain-7 1 WWII Tank Trap & 6 Horror pieces. Second World War-5 Mk IVF2 1/285 tanks. Christmas-2 Reindeer.

Maybe March will be a better month.

The last piece I painter was this Dark Angels Terminator Officer.

December '25 Painted Pieces

This diorama was the first of the December works completed.

Competed 69 pieces in December:

Game Terrain 41- Diorama of Twilight before Ragnarok. Christmas 6-Nuctcrackers. 40K 15- 1terminator officer, 2 terminator chaplains, 2 terminator standard bearers, 3 terminator heavy weapons & 7 Tyranid warriors. Fantasy 1- Lizardman war chief. Second World War 6- Medic's and wounded USAA personnel. 

Lizardman Lord Nsh'M-Csh'm was the last piece I finished in 2025.

Pieces Painted in November '25

 

First work finished in November was this Dark Angels Dreadnought and his termagant victim.

Finished 49 pieces in November- 40k-15 1 Hive Mind, 1 "Cypher,' 1 Heavy Weapons Terminator, 2 Dreadnaught, 2 Azral Supreme Grand Master and 8 Termagants. Gane Terrain-2 Victory Point Markers. Ragnarok-5 Loki, Woden's Ravens and victim. Decorations-27 5Christmas and 22 Halloween.

Loki and his familiar was the last piece finished in November.

Pieces Painted in October '25

First pieces painted was Grandmaster Azreal and his minion.

I painted 49 pieces in October:

40K-17 Cypher, 2 Azreal and minion, 2 Dreadnought and victim, 5 Terminators and 8 Termagants. Game Terrain-2 victory point markers. Holiday Decorations-25 3 Christmas and 22 Halloween. Ragnarok-5 2 Loki and minion, 3 Woden's Ravens and victim.

Last piece I painted in October were Woden's Ravens Huginn and Munin

All the game pieces were plastic. The decorations were wood, ceramic and plastic

Pieces Painted in September '25

First piece finished in September was the young red dragon Sangusira.

I finished 56 pieces this September:

Game Terrain 1-gas pump, Ragnarok 2-Woden Wolves, Warhammer 40K 3-Termeinator Heavy Weapons Space Marines, Steampunk 6-Techno Gobos, Second World War 6- Cpl. Wojtek the Bear and 5 251/21 Halftrack 15mm AA Vehicles (1/251 scale), Fantasy 37- a Jinn, Sangusira. the dragon,6 Forest Spirits, 10 Old Style Goblins and 20 Old Style Orcs. The Halftracks, old style Goblins and Orcs are metal, all the rest of the pieces are plastic. 

The Forest Spirit Nu-Luk-Tu-Vuu was the last piece I finished.

Figures painted in August

First piece finished in August was this US Paratroop Jeep and crew.

As we were sailing a lot this August, I only finished 34 figures.

Here's the August list. 

22 Second World War- 3 Weapons, 4 Jeep and Crew, 15 1/285 scale tanks (5 each Crusader's, Honey's and Mk IV D's) and 12 Warhammer 40K- 2 Drop Beacons, 1 Missile Terminator 3 Terminator Officers & 6 Terminator Knights (all are Dark Angels)

Last piece painted was this Dark Angeles Terminator Commander.

Apart from the metal 1/285 scale tanks and Jeep wheels, all the pieces were plastic.

July's Figures-only 25

First piece painted in July was a Sabertooth Pug.

Injured my wrist and hand so this month was a scanty one for completed pieces with only 25 painted.

Fantasy-12 2 Sabertooth Pugs, 5 goblins and 6 Orcs. 40K-54 1 Chaplin and 4 Raven Wing Bikers. Middle Ages-2 Knights. Korean War-6 PVA Heavy Weapons Teams. All were plastic.

Last piece painted in July was Dark Angels "Chaplin "Imprs'Wrth."

June '25 Figures Painted

 

First piece painted in June was Man-Thing.

The last pieces I painted in June were these Tyranid Ripper Swarms

Painted 54 pieces in June:
Crisis Protocol- 2- Man-Thing and Elsa Bloodstone. Warhammer 40K-39- 1 Tyranid Psycophange,1 Space Marine Standard Bearer, 2 Ravenwing Chaplain, 4 Old School Terminators, 5 Beacon's, 5 Terminator Knights, 8 Ripper Swarm and 13 Terminators. Gamer Terrain-12- 6 K-Rails and 6 52 Gallon Drums. Fantasy-1-Sabertooth Pug.

Pieces Painted in May '25

1st piece finished in May was this Dark Angels Chaplin in Terminator armor.

May was 40K Space Marine month as I really got into the swing of painting Richards Dark Angels Chapter Marines. All told I painted 52 pieces in May.

Decorations-6 Sunflowers, Crisis Protocol-1 Black-Suit, Symbiote Spiderman, 40k Warhammer-45 1 each Minion Standard Bearer, Liberian & Lieutenant, 2 each Chaplin's Terminator Heavy Weapons Troopers & Terminator Captains, 10 each Space Marines & Terminators, and 16 Raven Wing Bikers. 

Last piece finished in May was this Dark Angels Lieutenant in regular Space Marine armor.

March "25 Items Painted

A month late on this post, well it's been that kind of year...

Abomination was my first figure I painted in March. 

I painted 89 pieces in March:

Fantasy 17- 6 Uncommon Commoners, 6 Brute Warriors, 1 Tree Ent, 1 Styth Warrior Mage, 1Dwarf Steam-Machinist, 1 Morgan Witch and 1 "Bucher;" Beasts 1-Dinosaur; WWII 28- 18 USMC 28mm, 5 1/285 T34-85's and 5 1/285 M13/40's; Modern 30 weapons; 40K 2-Space Marines; Holiday 3- 1 Flapper pin and 2 12in. Nutcrackers; Canvas 1-  60.9cm x 45.7cm (24in x 18 in) water-color: 

                                                               "See Canyon at Sunrise."

These six USMC WWII pieces (Medium Mortar, Bazooka, two Flamethrowers and two Snipers) were the last ones I painted in March.

Pieces Painted in February '25

Thes "Strong-In-The-Arm" Assassins were my first pieces finished in February.\Had a lot going on in February, so I only painted 64 pieces.

9 Fantasy- 4 Orcs & 5 Assassins all plastic. 6 19th Century- 2 Limbers & 4 Artillery Pieces all plastic. 5 Second World War- 5 Metal 1/285 T-34 76's. 12 Terrain- 2 Pillboxes, 4 island trees & 4 Victory Points. 32 Holidays- 2 Wooden Nutcrackers and 30 Wood Valentine Hearts. 

These War Between the States artillery limbers were my last pieces I painted last month.

January 2025 Figures Painted

Master cook and tribal leader of the "Haf Emppte Pot Clan," Skrtch'M Cleen was my first piece finishe in January. 2025.

Painted 110 pieces in January, here is the list:

12 Fantasy- Dwarf Warrior Queen, Goblin Shaman-Cook, Fire Drake, Viking Warrior (metal), Death Goes to War, 3 Cloud Dragons and 4 Dwarf Shieldmaidens. 3 Game Terrain-Cerberus Statue and 2 cows, 3 Crisis Protocol- Spiderman, Ghost Spider and Dracula. 32 Holiday- Reindear, 130mm Nutcracker (wood) and 30 Valintine Hearts (wood). 60-Second World War- 1/285 Heer Infantry (metal). Except where noted all are plastic pieces.

The three-sibling cloud dragons Hokage (Firelight), Hoshiakari (Moonlight) and Usuakaiki (Twilight) were the last pieces I painted in January.

Figures painted in December '24

Frankenstein's Monster was my first piece painted in December.

With the holidays my painting slowed down quite a bit to only 37 pieces. Here is the list:

10 Fantasy- 3 skeletons & 7 dwarf warriors, 10 Second World War- 5 M5 Stuart tanks & 5 M26 Pershing Tanks all 1/285 scale, 13 Game Terrain- 5-piece fuel depot & 9 weapons, 4 Crisis Protocol-Frankenstein's Monster, the Mummy, Moon Knight & Count Dracula.

Dwarf leader Norro Biggorbb of the Clan Sonn O'orbb was my last piece I finished in 2024. All told I painted 906 pieces in 2024 ranging in size from 1/285 (about 2.5mm) scale World War Two infantry to a 110mm (4.33 inches) Greek Titan Atlas. 

Figures Painted in November '24

First piece I painted in November was Lord Rotgut.

Holiday prep really cut into my painting in November as I only finished 29 pieces.

Here is the months list: Fantasy 12- 4 Winged warriors, 8 Lord rotgut and minions. Terrain 2-15mm Peasant Farmhouses. Steampunk 6- 7 Steam-Mech Warriors. Second World War 5- 5 1/285 M-3 Motor Carraige AT-Halftracks. All except the metal M-3's were plastic pieces.

The last piece I finished was this 15mm scale peasant house from the Joan of Arc Game.

Figures Painted in October

1st piece painted was this 16th century house.

I completed 70 pieces in October ranging in size from 4mm to 50 mm.  Here is the list of this month's pieces:

Game Terrain 9- 3 houses, 2 three-piece Ox Carts, all 15mm Renaissance from Joan of Arc. World War Two 59- 5 Chaffee lt. tanks, 5 Katyuska Rocket trucks, 1 POL truck and 48 US Army soldiers all 1/285 scale. Marvel Universe 1- Warlock. Horror 1-Undead Lich King.

The World War Two pieces were metal, all the rest were plastic.

Last piece painted in October was this Marvel Universe "Warlock." 

September '24 Pieces Painted

Three Norn's were the first figures I painted in September.

September was a very busy month, and I only finished 49 pieces.

Here's the list:

Ragnarök- 4- Troll 3 Norn's, Joan of Arc/15th Century-26- 2 angels and 24 warriors, War Between the States - 2 Artillery VP Terrain, World War Two - 16 Weapons Terrain and Crisis Protocol- Silver Sable.

A Nordic Troll was the last piece I finished in September. All the pieces I painted in September were plastic.

August '24 Figures Painted

William Bowman, the first of 197 figures I painted in August. Most are historic military pieces.

Fantasy - six Rat Swarms, Middle Ages/Renaissance - One Hundred and Sixty-Three cavalry, knights and men-at-arms. 19th Century - nine British colonial officers, and Second World War - Nineteen Commonwealth North African Sikhs.

Apart from the metal 19th British Colonial figures, all the pieces I painted in August were plastic.

Sikh Commonwealth soldiers from the North African Campaign were my last pieces painted in August.

Pieces Painted in July

1st Pieces painted in July, six Philippine Scouts trying to hold back the IJA 1941 invasion of the Philippine's Commonwealth.

Painted 139 pieces in July, mainly due to my starting to paint up a 15mm army for "Lions Rampant" (my first new 15mm army in 20+ years-my first armies were 9mm Napoleonic & African Colonials back in 1973). Here are the pieces painted in July:

Fantasy seven -6 Skeletons & 1 Succubus. Ragnarök seven-4 Jofurr, Harald Hardrada, Thor & King Hrolf "the Just" Kraki. Game Terrain thirty-nine from 15 mm scale houses and walls to fantasy treasure troves. Middle Ages/Renaissance sixty -12 mounted knights, 16 mounted yeomen/Light Cav, 32 infantry. 19th Century thirteen-4 Canadian Mounted Police, 9 Officers if the Raj, Second World War twelve -12 Philippine Scouts. Dystopian Future one-Barbarian Raider.  

Last piece painted in July, Danish King Hrolf "the Just" Kraki.

Figures painted in June '24

 

The first piece's painted in June were these two Dystopian World Femme Fatales, Inadun Gronthar and Daphny Swiftblad "Night Huntress."

Due to family health problems this June I only painted 57 pieces and posted 26 times.

The pieces I painted were:

Battle Debris 19 - 16 World War Two weapons & 3 Modern Weapons. Second World War 13 - 3 MMG Team,4 Motorcycles, & 6 Infantry, all American. Decorations 8- 1 Christmas Village house 6 Daises & 1 110mm (4.33 in) Nutcracker. Ragnarök 4 Ulfhednars. Terrain Pieces 4 V/P markers. 19th Century 2- British Maj. Scotty B. McDrik'r & Yukon King. Fantasy 6 Goblins. Dystopian World 2 Femme Fatales.

                                     

The last pieces I painted in June were these American Second World War .30 cal. machinegun soldiers.

First piece finished in May, the Titan Atlas.

I hit the 101 mark in pieces painted in a month for the first time in several years. The pieces ranged from the 110mm Atlas to 5mm weapons battle debris. Here is the months list:
