Correcting a Common Mistaken Statement

Doctor Miguelito Quiote Loveless III is one who blames his misfortunes on the quality of his teachers for he fell into the trap of believing an old and completely incorrect statement. The infamous saying about "those who can do and those who can't teach."  The truth of the matter is- "THOSE WHO CAN DO AND THOSE WHO CAN'T BLAME THE TEACHER!"

Doctor Miguelito Quiote Loveless III is a metal Archive piece that I painted several years ago.

Dr. Miguelito Quiote Loveless III Seeks REVENGE!

For the honor of his family, Doctor Miguelito Quiote Loveless III has spent his life developing elaborate (some would say mad) plans, infernal devices, weapons and general mayhem to crush those who have wronged his family.

He is especially angry with the decedents of Secret Service Agent James West and the government he represented. The tales his father and grandfather told young Miguelito of West's vendetta against the Loveless family have engrave unending hatred on his heart.
The fact that none of his work has fully succeeded to this date has neither dampened his spirit nor his thirst for revenge. He knows that tomorrow or the next day or the next ,,,will bring him victory.
This is an old 1970's Archive Miniatures metal casting that I dug out of one of my garage boxes and painted up this week.

When Lizardmen go to War-"Grunts"

Slow to anger, but relentless when aroused, Lizardmen are deadly enemies. Here are some of the basic "Grunt: warriors of the Lizardman kingdoms.

Led by elite sword and shield warrior, this battle group is ready to destroy their people's enemies.
The razor-sharp obsidian blades, the Macuahuitl sword can easily slice and arm or leg to the bone.
The rear ranks are armed with metal halberds that can cleave enemies frof head to toe with a single massive swing.
These are all metal pieces from Archive that I painted for D&D and fantasy battles back in the 1970's.

Mad Science is In the Eye of the Beholder

One man's "MAD SCIENCE" is just another man's scientific imagination set free such as Dr. Johon Rippinoff and his "Doom Ray." Is this Mad he says, HA it is but a whim full filled.
Certainly Dr. I. B. Seltsam, creator of Reisigen Wreiben Baren and
Gorg Haar sees these as scientific firsts'. It's not his fault if they go a little crazy time to time and run amok...HA-HAA.
Nore does the famed botanist, Dr. Ivy Grunen-Dauman, find any fault in her beautiful new plant creation Zhane. Just don't let the kids near when Zhane is hungry HA-HAA-HAAA.
And what could be wrong with the development of Draco Rubrum sighs often misquoted and misunderstood Dr.Amare Scialienis. Mad Science HA-HAA-HAAA-HAAAA.
What about poor old Dr. Atomicus who has to live in this armored body after years of accidents spent inventing the Atom Blaster Hand Cannon Mrk V. They called all these great minds "Mad" and their work Mad Science." But they know the truth, "the rest of the mundane scientific community are jealous of us, we will show them all! MAD, NO WE'RE NOT MAD HA-HA- HAAA-HAAA A-HAAAAA, WE ARE SUPER GENIUSES AND WILL HAVE OUR REVENGE!!!

The scientists (Pulp Figures) and Draco (Archive Figures) are metal pieces that I painted in 2012, except for Dr. Rippinoff who I painted in 2014. Gorg Haar and Reisigen Wreiben Baren are plastic pieces also painted in 2012.

Mixed Doubles

The Orc is a Games Workshop plastic from the late '90's, the priest is a Ral Partha from the '80's and the mule team is from Archive Miniatures in the '70's. Yep, I've been painting metal miniatures for a long time-1973 to be exact and 1962 with plastic models.

On a far unknown planet, three elite Lzmnwrrrs assault troopers prepair to scout the planet for future conquest.
These Lzmnwrrrs are old Archive metal pieces that I painted back in the late 1970's.

Bianca Snow and the Space Pirates

Bianca and her space pirate crew are the scourge of many space lanes.
Never underestimate a pirate due to their size or gender-Bianca and her crew have left many broken bodies of those who did.
These were some fun metal castings from Archive that I pained around 1979. You may notice that Bianca has a striking simularity to a famous kidnapped heiress from the '70's, Archive had several pieces using this kind of humor.

Smaug and His Treasure

The dreaded Smaug has spent a life time collecting the greatest treasure in Middle Earth.

While his massive heat has melted much of the coins, he has protected the best pieces.
He is especially fond of shiny jewels and the weapons and armor of the enemies he has destroyed.
The treasure is scratch built and Smaug is a metal piece from Archive.

D & D Beastie...Owl Bear

A monsterious combination to drive fear into any warrior band, the dreaded Owl Bear. One look explains its name.
This is a metal piece from Archive that I painted the 1970's for my old D&D games.

Dark Lord of the Near Sith

Radiating power, the Dark Lord of the Near Sith (not to be mistaken for another copywriter Dark Lord), plans his next move against the forces of good.

I painted this metal piece from Archive Miniatures in the late 1970's.

Spaceee Dwarvesss!

Ready to do a little pirating,-oops thats privateering that is,Torg Pinhad and Born Turaad sneek through the fuel lines in a space port on some strange planet.
Perhaps the best loot is this way, especially as there are a lot of guards that other way.
Both are metal pieces that I painted in the late 1970's. The right hand pirate dwarf is from Archive Miniatures, he is from the "Bianca Snow and her Space Dwarf Pirates" set.  I don't remember the maker of the other figure.

Smaug and Bilbo

The mighty Smaug appears ready to make a light snack of one Bilbo Baggins Esq. (and thief).
The out come will depend on Bilbo's brain rather than brawn.  Will he be able to outsmart the Wiley dragon or will Bilbo's adventure be bitten short?
Smaug is a massive metal piece from Archive, while Bilbo is a 20mm plastic piece from Games Workshop.

Beware the Minotaurs!

Three brothers of the minotaur clan are ready for their next fight.
The youngest take his place in the center of the line so as to learn, and be protected by this brothers.
The two minotaurs on the ends are from Archive while the center one is from Grenadier.  he Archive are the older of the two designs and you can see a lot of similarity from the Grenadier piece-imitation is the sincerest form of flattery they say.  All three are metal figures that I painted in the late 1970's.

Open Up and Say AHHH

Dr. Amare Scialienis checks on her latest "development" - Draco Rubrum.  She has just "de-corked" him from one of her vats just visible in the right rear.
"Fluffy," as Dr. Scialienis affectionately calls him, is the latest of her Biological  experiments.
Dr. Scialienis is a 28mm metal piece from Pulp Figures, Fluffy (who also doubles as Smaug in the Fantasy World) is a massive metal piece from Archive Miniatures.
