The thrill of flight was to extreme for young Icarus. Icarus, whose father, Daedalus, warned not to fly to high as the Sun would melt the wax holding the feathers onto his flying suit.
But the feeling of power was too much for the foolish Icarus who rose ever high into the sky, ignoring his father pleas to come down.
All to soon the Icarus did come down, crashing to his doom in a shower of falling feathers.
Icarus is a plastic piece from Mystic Battle that I painted in August.
