Caesar warns his USMC handler Danny, that Japanese troops are hiding in ambush positions ahead.
With warnings like this countless Marine lives were saved throughout the Pacific campaign
The USMC War Dog Training Program began in late 1942, with Dobermans as the most common K-9 members of these war dog teams.
There were trained as messengers and scouts in platoons of 18 scouts and 18 messengers and 65 officers and men. Each platoon held three Squads of 6 of each type.
Caesar and Danny are a special metal piece from Warlord that I painted this week.
