A Pacific War a battle-hardened Australian platoon advances. In the middle of the line, a flamethrower team readies to lead the advance. No, you don't want your flamethrower this close when the real shooting start, as the fuel tanks can explode quite spectacularly if hit. Each of the two squads has a Bren Gun for extra firepower.
Behind the line, a medic carries a wounded mate, you don't leave your wounded to the enemy.
A light mortar team double times to keep up.
On the right of the line is a .55 in. Boys Anti-Tank Rifle team, next to the Bren Gun. While the left flank is covered by a two-man sniper team.
These are plastic pieces I painted in August of 2019, for my Bolt Action Pacific War Commonwealth Army. In a pinch they can double for Korean War Aussie troops as well. The flamethrower is a scratch build.
