Thorn in the Side, somewhere in France Fall 1944

Latest New from Europe
Date line September 1944, somewhere in Southern France

Our intrepid reporter "RJ" took this action photo of a raid by French partisans somewhere behind the lines in Sothern France. The raiders went by nick names rather than their actual name for obvious reasons. Left to right "Jock," "Algieres," "Dockman" & "Trigger." The mission-destroy captured Allied equipment like the M3 halftrack in the rear of the photo.  The mission was a success with no loses to the raiders who are anxious to keep being a thorn in the side of the enemy until they are driven from France.

The pieces:

The pieces are all plastic. The partisans are from Atlantic that I painted earlier this week.

Tea, it's not just for Humans

Joljin, Oger 2nd Class, enjoys a good pot of strong tea as much as the next beast. Especially in the heat of battle.

Therefore, Joljin always has a fresh pot ready pretty much all the time as Ogres love to fight.
Joljin is a plastic piece I paint this week.

Not All Werewolves Are Bad

Sir Regenald B. Furie makes a trusted and powerful bodyguard for Dutchess Victoria I. Bknot.  Regenald (Amarus to his friends), being a lycanthrope, is especially good at sniffing out dangers, especially when the Dutchess is following her passion of daemon hunting.
Amarus (Bitter) and the Duchess are plastic pieces from Rise of Mologh that I painted in 2018.

Kami-Samurai with Attitude

The Kami Eikichi-Koto has mastered the combat style of Samurai and considers himself a Kami Samurai. Needless to say, countless Samurai have tried to kill him for his arrogance.  This has resulted Eikichi-Koto developing a deep hatred of all humans and Samurai in particular.

His preferred weapon is a massive Nodachi of 186 cm (72 in.) length.
One tremendous swing of his Nodachi Kashikoi Otoko (Man Clever) is usually enough to eliminate even the strongest foe.

But what if your foe is using the marital art "Beer Kung Fu Master Shan Kicbtt?"  Who then will be victorious?

To read more about Shan Kicbtt see:

Both pieces are plastic I recently painted.

The Special Naval Landing Force (SNLF) was an elite unit of the Japanese Imperial Navy during the Second Sino Japanese War and World War Two.

From China to the South Pacific the SNLF was involved in every type of combat in any type of terrain.

These are plastic pieces that I painted in 2018 for my Bolt Action Pacific Forces.

Viper Strikes!

As her namesake implies, Viper's strike is deadly.

Trained in the ways of killing by Kraken of Hydra, Viper (aka Ophelia Sarkissian) eventually left Hydra to lead the dreaded Viper Squad mercenaries.

Under her leadership. the Viper Squad has become one of the most feared forces of the Worlds underworld
Viper is a plastic piece from Crisis Protocol that I painted in November.
