Make Me Mad and I'll Play Misty for You!

You really don't want to piss off Betty Lou Woo (Tiny to her friends) for she will quickly let you say hello to her "Little Friend Misty."

Those that upset Betty will feel the full effect of her Heckler & Koch MG4 A3 light machinegun.

As her H&K MG4 A3 can let fly a storm (up to 890 rpm) of 5.56 mm ammo at over 920 m/s (3000+fps) and she is a crack shot, any targets under fire are in for a world of hurt.

Betty is the latest in my Dystopian World survivor women I have painted thia year.
 

January Painting Projects

 

Working on a squad of Winter Russians from World War Two. 4 riflemen, 1 automatic rifle, medic and wounded soldier, radioman, 2-man LMG section, 3 SMGs and a commander. 

These are a mix of plastic and metal pieces.

Nancy is Having a Bad Day

Never anger Nancy when she is in on of her moods.
 

Especially when she has her S&W .45, a backpack full of frag grenade and Billy-club.

On the other hand, if she's on your side she is a deadly ally in the Dystopian World of the future.

Nancy is a plastic piece I finished in late December. 

Jet Black-Bounty Hunter

In the future World of Cowboy Bebop, Jet Black is one of the premier bounty hunters.
 

As a former cop, Jet knows both the ends and outs of the law enforcement in the Solar system as well as having lots of police contacts on all the planets.

With his partner Spike, and companions, Ed, Einstein and Faye, Jet traves the Solar System on the Bebop collecting bounties on so of the most dangerous outlaws that exist.

Jet Black is a plastic piece that I painted in December '22.

IJN Noshiro

This IJN Noshiro was one of four light cruisers of the Agno Class. Designed as a destroyer flotilla flagship, Noshiro was fast (35 knots0, lightly armored (max 60 mm0 armed with six 152mm (5'99 inch) cannon, four 76mm (3 inch) Six 25mm (1inch) AA eight 610mm (24 inch) torpedo tubes, eighteen depth charges and carried two float planes. All on a 162 m (531ft) hull of 7590 tons with a crew of 726. 

The Noshiro had a short, but active, career of only 16 months. She saw action in the Gilbert, Solomon and Philippine islands in 1943-44. In the October 24,1944, Battle off Samar she damaged the USS White Plains, an escort carrier, with a salvo from her main battery and received damage from an American 5 in gun in return. The Noshiro was sunk two day later by US naval aircraft, only 326 of the crew survived.

                   This resign and plastic piece is my first figure painted in 2023.

1st figure this December the Kami Samurai

      From Japanese Fantasy to Dystopian World and Cowboy Bebop I painted 52 pieces this December. The pieces ranged from 12 to 57mm (.47 to 2.25 inches) in height. Here's what was painted: A new category Dystopian World (think Post Apocalypse)- 9, Big Mamma Boom Boom, Assault Sgt., Camo Trudy, MG Nelly, "the Woman," Kelli Deadi, Crazy Blue, & Kommander Kody.  Sci Fi-3, Jack Black, Ed & Einstein (all from Cowboy Bebop Anime). Fantasy-3, Kami Samurai, Teatime Ogre and Archmage Ridcully. Terrain-2, Street Sign and Lamppost. 19th Century-1, French Colonial Infantry Officer. WWII-4, Partisans Jock, Algieres, Dockman & Trigger. Napoleonic-30, Prussian Landwehr Infantry.

Total painted in 2022 were 495 figures.  Guess I'm slowing down as I get older.

Kommander Kody's Orders Must Be Obeyed

 

Kommander Kody earned her title with clear thinking, a loud voice and lots of firepower.

Her automatic pistol, assault rifle and a fragmentation grenade will solve most problems.

In the Dystopian future she took the role of leader when she realized she was the most qualified.
