Officers Three

 Experienced officers like Major Hyram B. Preppared, Lt. Colonel Sly D. Burrns and Colonel Sir Patrick, "Attacking Mac," MacCallaster-Smyth know that leading from the front is the only way for true gentlemen to behave when facing the enemies of her Imperial Majesty. "The British Empire was not created by desktop soldiers you know. Showing the "Blighters" who the best soldiers are is the best way to show them how foolish resistance is."

 These three British Officers are all metal from Pulp Figures. I painted them in July.

Boyes Anti-Tank Rifle-it's not just for AFV's

While a Boyes ATR is able to penetrate light tank armor... 

its range and stopping power combine to make it a deadly sniper's weapon as well.

Paratroop Sniper Team

A two-man Tommy Paratrooper sniper team races to their next vantage point to cover their comrades advance in 1944 Northern Europe. 

These are plastic piece from Warlord that I painted for my Bolt Action British Army.

The Ordinance SBML Two Inch Mortar was a great improvement on the rifle grenade and much easier to move and use than the larger medium mortars.

Capable of firing a 2-pound 2-ounce (.51 kilo) round 500 yards (460 meters) every 7.5 seconds, the Two-Inch mortar gave solid service to British and Commonwealth forces from the late 1930's to 1960's.

I painted up this plastic Sikh mortar team this week.

I Defeated the Teutonic Knights

Yes, I Casimir IV Jagiellon King of Poland and Gand Duke of Lithuania led the forces that defeated the Teutonic Knights Order in the "Thirteen Years War," (aka "War of the Cities") 1454-1466.

My forces of the Polish Crown and Prussian Confederation were too much for the "Self-Righteous" Teutonic Knights and their feeble Danish Allies. 

They will think twice before they cross swords with us again. Now it's time to party!

Desert Bren Gun

The Bren Gun Light Machine Gun (LMG) gave the standard British and Commonwealth squads extra firepower from its introduction in the late 1930's to the 1960's. 

This is a Sikh North African Bren Gun Team, pouring .303 round into their Axis enemies.

Thes3e are plastic Bolt Action figures I pained last night.

Enemy on the Run-Time to Counterattack

With years of combat experiences behind him, Colonel Sir Patrick MacCallaster-Smyth, has developed a "Sixth Sense" on when the enemy is at the breaking point. To his men, who know his methods and skills, the Colonel is affectionately known as "Attacking Mac."

In today's battle on the Northwest Fontier, "Attacking Mac" knows that now is the time to counterattack and crush the Pathans.

A quick order to his aide-de-camp sets the British troops onto the offensive.

Now is time to watch the action and then to ready for the next stage of the campaign to teach the Pathans to avoid incurring the wrath of the Empire in the future.

Arrows First - Finish with the Axe

For most of the time they are woodsmen, but in battle they are hunters of men.

After a volley of deadly arrows, they close in to finish off their foes with their axes.

I painted these plastic pieces this month.

On My Command, FIRE!

When facing hordes of natives armed with deadly sharped pointed weapons, Major Hyram B. Preppared knows the best defense is a continuous series of well-timed rifle volleys.

Especially when the volleys are driven home by the man stopping .577/450 Boxer round from her Majesties Martin-Henry armed troops.

It's the major duty to control his troops volleys so they are present a wall of fire that can stop even the most determined "native" charge.

Here Come the Teutonic Knights

Charging into battle, this force of Teutonic Foot Knights know that their faith, armor and experience will lead them to victory in their wars of conquest in God's name-and the hope for loot and land.

These battle-hardened warriors are not above using brutal tactics to both defeat and cower their enemies, it's in God's name you know. The North-Eastern lands of Europe will face years of bloody wars in the last of the Teutonic religious crusades of the 15th century that will eventually end in defeat for the Teutonic Knights, but for now its war for God, Glory and Gold!

These are 15mm plastic pieces I painted this month.

News from the Front: Hero of Baksababan, Major Biff, Sir Loin d'  Beouf  DSO, IMO, CSI of the 51st & 1/2 Foreststangers awaits the award of his latest award for bravery, the Order of St. James Officer (OSJO). The brave major is credited with singlehandedly holding the sally port of Castle Bagh until the last of his men were able to safely retire from a raid against the Afraidis. With officers of his merit, the British Empire is in safe hands.

Sir Loin d'  Beouf  DSO, IMO, CSI is a medal piece I painted in July.

Lithuanian Armor on the Hoof

Two troops of Lithuanian knights...

prepare to defend the homeland from the latest invasion by Teutonic knights.

Lighter armor gives them a slight speed advantage, will that be enough to defeat the heavily armored Teutonic warriors? Only time will tell.

I painted these plastic pieces from Monoliths Joan of Arc game this month.
