Rogue with the "Cursed" Power

 Anna Marie AKA Rogue has an immense power, that if used recklessly, is a true curse, the ability to absorb the powers and memories of those she comes in physical contact with. The curse is that prolonged contact can permanently damage or even kill those Rogue touches.

After a period of time with the Brotherhood of Mutants, Rogue chose to join the X-Men.

Her power is a form of mimicry, enabling her to even take the personality traits of those she comes in skin-to-skin contact.

She and Gambit have a long-complicated relationship that has slowly developed into true romance. 

The two make a powerful team to fight the forces of evil that threaten the World.
