Messenger of the Gods

Hermes, herald to the Greek Gods, was also the patron of travelers, merchants, commerce, public speakers and thieves.
As the son of Zeus and Maia, his status as the messenger of the Olympian gods was enhanced. He also relayed messages from the gods to their human worshipers.
As with all messenger, not all of his news was popular with the recipients, Regardless, Hermes delivers
his communications professionally, speedly and with as little emotion as possible.
Well, well if it isn't the cursed Hiktos Nuluk, just in the right spot for a ...
swift kick, ha, ha, ha! God's have to have some fun every now and then, wink, wink. For the further adventures and history of Hiktos Nuluk click here:

Hermes is a huge plastic piece from Mystic Battles that I finished last night.

Millions will die in the Great Patriotic War before the invaders are finally defeated and driven
from the sacred land of Mother Russia.

North Korean Veteran Squad

The North Korean Army was a dangerous foe for the duration of the bloody Korean War.
Armed and trained in the Soviet Army style, the veteran squads were especially dangerous.
Specializing in infiltration, flanking and night assault's; only fools and the dead underestimated
the danger posed by these veterans.

These are metal pieces I painted in 2020.

Why We Fear The Night

The night belongs to Vigore, a true vampire who is part human only in the most vague sense of the word.
With the many times the strength of any man, Vigore knows that the mortals of the Queen rightly fear him.
As with all his allies in the Rise of Mologh, Vigore's the only danger he faces is from the agents of the Queen,
Vigore is actually the plastic piece Kain Finger from the Rise of Mologh that I painted earlier this month.

Warrior Party-Settlers Nightmare

Nothing on the colonial frontier brought more fear to the hearts of the Europeans than the war cries of
a Native American war party. Armed with both traditional and European weapons, decked out in warpaint, these Mohawk braves. were rightfully feared by their enemies.
War parties specialized in swift hit and run raids and ambush attacks. Though out the 18th century, only the foolish or the dead ignored the threat of a war party raid.
I painted these plastic pieces from Warlord earlier this month.

Follow Guyasuta

Guyasuta, Chief of the Senecas, leads his warrior into battle during Pontiacs Rebellion.
Guyasuta has chosen to attack the British frontier post of Fort Pitt.
A victory at Fort Pitt will help drive the hated settlers out of the lands of his people.
Guyasuta is my version of the character played by Boris Karloff in the 1947 movie "Unconquered." He is a plastic piece that I painted this month.

Down 100-Fire for Effect

The Forward Artillery Observer (F/O) calls in fire support to aid his fellow Chinese soldiers. The pounding the Imperial Japanese invaders take may be enough to halt their attack.  If not, the F/O will relocate and try again as as many times as are necessary as China fights for its very existence in the Second Sino-Japanese War (July 1937 to September 1945).
This F/O is a scratch built plastic piece for my Chinese Army that I painted in 2018.
