Witch of the Pink Mists

Witch Rosa Haxamastare is mistress of the terrifying "Petrifying Pink Mist" spell.

Those that cross her are never given a change to anger her again for the Petrifying Pink Mist spell's effects are nonreversible.

Witch Rosa does not like surprises, those that startle her become pink decorative statues not unlike those of her mentor the "Pink Medusa."  (World Historyprof: Search results for pink) So stay polite, watch your step and don't raise the ire of the Witch of the Pink Mists.

Pink Medusa Strikes Again

Two Orcs and a Dwarf have become the latest victim's of the deadly glaze of the of the fearsome "Pink Medusa." Unlike her "sisters," PM fines grey stone so "boooring," so she adds a tint of pinke to brighten up her victim's deaths.

The victims are metal (Orc's are Grenadier the Dwarf is Ral Partha) and Medusa (Monolith) is plastic I painted them this month and her in 2020.

June Pieces Painted List

 

Ulik the Rock Troll hero was the 1st piece painted in June.

Competed 94 pieces in June, ranging in height from deadly poison spitter plants that were a short 7mm (.28 inch) to a massive 940mm (37inch) resin Lighthouse. Here is the June list, unless otherwise listed, all the pieces were plastic. 

Game Terrain-20 19th century Battle Markers, 30 Bolt Action Pin Markers, 2 metal Bells, 4 Traffic Signs, 2 3d printed Brick Houses, 1 Gargoyle and the Lighthouse. Decorations- 3 Metal Butterflies & a 457mm x 609.5mm (18x24 in.) seascape canvas. Animals-2 Pteranodons, 2 Velociraptors & a camel. Fantasy- 3 metal Pink Medusa Victims, 2 Knights & a Forest Elf. Barbarian-1 metal Standard Bearer. First World War- 1 metal Austro-Hungarian Officer, Second World War-8 French Partisans. Science Fiction-1 40k Hive World Ganger. Marvel-Beta Ray Bill & Ulik. Pulp 20's-30's- 2 Flesh Eating Plants, 3 Poison Spore Spitter Plants & 8 Gasbag Spores. 

These 8 deadly Gasbag Spores were the last pieces finished in June.

Sword and Sorcery

Sarr Von Blitzzin, master of the Pink Robe School of Sorcery, readies his magic blade "Foe Slicer." An expert with the sword and spell, Sarr makes his mark in a dangerous world of ruins and monsters of the dark realms.

Sarr is a plastic miniature from Games Workshops Warhammer line.
I painted Sarr in the late 1990's.

Pieces Painted in February

Goddess Freyja, the first piece finished in February.

The weather was cold and wet, perfect time to paint so I was able to finish 70 pieces this month.

Ragnarök- 5 Oathbreakers, 3 Jomsvikings, 2 Freyja Cats, Hel, Freyr, Angrboda, Sleeping Bjark, Bodvar Bjark, Gullveic, Frost Jutunn, Grendel, Grendel Modor & Beowulf.   Fantasy- 1 Yeti Shaman, 1 Bishop Warrior, 1 Fire Deamon Skeleton, 1 Hobbit Paladin, 1 Purple Wizard, & 1 Witch of the Pink Mist. Game Terrain- 10 Dead Trees, 11 Rune Stones (both are from the Ragnarök game) 1 Battlefield V.P Marker, 1 Fire Hydrant & 1 18.5 cm (7.5 in.) Castle Tower. Decorations- 1 Nutcracker, 1 Hummingbird & 1 Gold Branch, Crisis Protocol- 1 Iron Fist. 18th Century- 2-piece mounted Bavarian Captain, 4 Artillery pieces & 7-piece Artillery Battery. 19th Century- 3-piece Guru. World War II- 4 French Resistance Fighters.
