Para's Advance

Captain Hyde Hamer-Smyth gathers his command section and heads towards "the sound of the guns."

The captain knows that one of the greatest's strengths of paratroopers after a drop is swift action to catch the enemy unprepared and disoriented. So have at it "Para's" and "let loose the dogs of war!"

Thes are plastic pieces I painted in June 2019.

Latest Uniform Research Books

+
Just got these great additions to my reference library via Amazon. "The U.S. Army 1941-45" was printed in 1984, the other two were printed in 1982. The U.S. Army 1941-45 will come in handy right now as I am working on a Dec-Feb. 1941-42 Pacific American/Philippine Bolt Action force to face off against my IJN/IJA/SNLF troops.

Orc Battlewagons on the Move

In a Univers of constant warfare, Orc Battlewagons are some of the strangest looking AFV's.

Yet looks can be deceiving these are deadly war-machines that are crewed by some of the most brutal fighters in the known universe.

These are Epic 40K plastic pieces painted in the 1980's. And yes, everybody know that red ones go faster, Ha, Ha.

Roving Dead of the Desert

In the dead of night with the creaking of bones, old leather and rusty metal Ancient Egyptian undead shuffle through the sands. Where they are headed is unknown.

As daylight comes, they become more determined as they move with deadly purpose radiating fear.
Is it a raid, or the start of the creation of an army to war on the living?

More have joined, including some form of nobleman captain.  So, war it is to be.

These are plastic pieces I painted in the early 2000's.

Thank God For Our Veterans

From the first Great War of the 20th Century...

now called World War One...

to the Inter-War conflicts, like the "Banana Wars"...

the Second World War...
Korea...
Vietnam all the way to...
the conflicts of the 21st Century, the United States has been protected by the men and women of our Armed Forces. These veterans, like 21-year old USMC Lance Corporal Thomas E. Wall (in 2011), have given their youth, health and bodies to keep America free. God Bless Them All!

(The black and white pictures are all miniatures I have put together and painted over the years. The WWI pieces are 25mm USMC troops, the Banana War figures are 28mm USMC, the WWII vehicles are an M-3 Lee tank and the famous Jeep with a .50 cal. Ma Duce. The Korean War is represented by an Army Bazooka team while the Vietnam man is an Army Advisor with the M-3 "Grease Gun" SMG, all are 28mm miniatures.)

Victories are few and far between for Da Bears this year, so we have to celebrate those we get.
