The JUDICATOR! WIP

Fresh from the factory floor, the massive Judicator stands ready for his Menoth colors before heading into his first battle.
Giant engines and overwhelming weapons for a giant warmachine (The human figure at the base is a standard 28mm piece from Pulp Figures and gives a good idea as to how much a giant the Judicator truly is!)
This huge piece from Privateer Press is both plastic, and metal with scores of pieces and stands more than 150mm (six inches) tall.  To say the Judicator is a challenge construct is a true understatement.

Hobbits on the Run

Merry and Pippin have run into a little trouble and are now the unhappy "guests" of Uruk-hai Orcs.

Hoping for rescue by their friends from the Fellowship of the Ring, the two hobbits can only wait for a chance to escape and run away from their evil captors.

These are metal pieces from the Games Workshop LOTR series.  I painted them in the early 2000's.

This is the first post in a while due to camera and photo storage problems... I hope to get back on a more steady schedule of posts soon. Rick

Seaman Volksman Reporting

Seaman Karl Volksman reports for duty on one of Captain Patsy Seemasters ocean tugs.
Karl never travels without seabag, combat knife and his trusty Mauser 98.
He has heard many stories of the type of "voyages" Captain Seemaster is known for, lots of action and bonus pay.  Two things Karl is looking forward to enjoying.
Karl is a 28mm metal piece from Pulp Figures.

The War Wagon

A feared visage on the battlefield-the War Wagon! Heavily armed and armored man by the best and bravest warriors of the empire.
Armed with a combination of firearms and hand to hand weapons, the War Wagon can fight its way through most enemy lines with ease.
The morningstar, and halberds can mash the and bash any foe.
Long guns, multi-barrel muskets and a blunderbuss give maximum fire support to the rest of the crew in battle.
An overhead view  gives an idea of the tight fighting conditions in the armors battle platform.
The horses are plastic the rest of the pieces are metal from Games Workshop.  I painted them in the late 1990's for my Empire Warhammer Army.

Smaug and Bilbo

The mighty Smaug appears ready to make a light snack of one Bilbo Baggins Esq. (and thief).
The out come will depend on Bilbo's brain rather than brawn.  Will he be able to outsmart the Wiley dragon or will Bilbo's adventure be bitten short?
Smaug is a massive metal piece from Archive, while Bilbo is a 20mm plastic piece from Games Workshop.
