Thank You Veterans

 As Veterans Day comes to a close this year, I want to thank all the veterans living and dead who have protected our Nation. Below are just some of the family and friends who have served since Armistice Day/Veterans Day has been celebrated.

Rescuers-No-Raiders-Yes

Fresh on the heels of German and Hungarian raiders comes a new group of warriors.

These mercenary mounted crossbowmen are between jobs so need some ready cash.

So rather than assist the downtrodden village folk, they loot and pillage them instead. Such is the lot of peasants, taxed, or pillaged, it is just an accepted part of life.

I painted these plastic pieces in October.

Nothing says Happy Birthday USMC like a Ma Duce .50 cal. on full auto! So Happy 249th Birthday to the Men and Women of the Corps. "Once a Marine, always a Marine!"

"Hit-Raid-Run," Stepp Warriors Creed

 

A band of mounted raiders from the Stepps hits a small village. The raid is fast, brutal and then off to the homeland with the loot before enemy warriors can react/

These are15mm plastic pieces I painted in September. 

Figures Painted in October

1st piece painted was this 16th century house.

I completed 70 pieces in October ranging in size from 4mm to 50 mm.  Here is the list of this month's pieces:

Game Terrain 9- 3 houses, 2 three-piece Ox Carts, all 15mm Renaissance from Joan of Arc. World War Two 59- 5 Chaffee lt. tanks, 5 Katyuska Rocket trucks, 1 POL truck and 48 US Army soldiers all 1/285 scale. Marvel Universe 1- Warlock. Horror 1-Undead Lich King.

The World War Two pieces were metal, all the rest were plastic.

Last piece painted in October was this Marvel Universe "Warlock." 

We Will Die For His Imperial Majesty

When the enemy has tank's and we have only flesh and bone,

we the soldiers of the sacred "Emperor of Nippon" will use our bodies to carry the weapons needed to destroy enemies' vehicles.

Grenades, artillery shells and explosives will all be used in our hands to carry destruction to the foes of of His Imperial Majesty!

These are all plastic pieces I painted in the earlier years of this century.

Polish Knights to the Rescue

When raiders threaten their lords' lands and people...

this stout band of knights, including the lords first born,...

charge to the rescue.

Then it's back to the banquet hall for a well-earned meal, drink and entertainment.
