Want Blood in Blood Bowl Send in the Armored Blitzers!

Heavily armed and armored, htese Skaven Blitzers are just what the coach needs when he wants blood and mayhem on the pitch.

These rats are not afraid to get their gloved paws dirty, especially when they get to use low blows and dirty tricks!

They Don't Call it Blood Bowl for Nothing

Ready to literally cut up the opposition, this group of Skaven Gutter Runners will give their all for the glory of the team and to win the coveted "Skaven Bowl Trophy."

As Blood Bowl is a largely no holds banned "game," the ratmen go at it with teeth, claws and blades! So let the games begin...

These are all plastic pieces, for are from Games Workshop with the lone different figure from Reaper. I painted them this week for Richard's Blood Bowl Team.

Firepower on the Run

When you really need local firepower, send for the light mortar team and their will come a running. Just as this two-man Aussi 2-inch mortar team is doing.

When Lizardmen Go to War-the Leaders

The Great Mage Rulers of the Lizardmen, Zrr Glddnn Mstrr and Zrr Crmsn Mgg ready their MagiK and Mystic Powers as they prepare to war against those who intrude into their forbidden jungle land.

 

From his elevated platform, Zrr Glddnn Mstrr oversees his junior mages casting of a spawning spell that will call for countless hordes of lizardmen from the nearby the spawning pools. Soon an unstoppable army will be on the march to eradicate those fools who have angered the Lizardmen Lords.

 

Zrr Glddnn Mstrr and Zrr Crmsn Mgg are metal Salan pieces from Games Workshop that I painted in the late 1990's for my Warhammer Lizardman Army.

July Pieces Painted

                            First set painted was this Snor Hovmester scene.

Competed 48 pieces in June. Here is the June list, unless otherwise listed, all the pieces were plastic. 

Game Terrain- 27 wooden barrels, 9 treasure chest markers, 1 weapons trove, 1 "Baby" V-2 & 1 flower set. Animals- 1 Grandma Pteranodon & 1 Youth Styracaceous. Fantasy- 3-piece Snor Hovmester, 2-piece Shelly & Lo the baby dragon & a magic caldron. Painting- Seascape Sailboat Race.

The last piece I finished painting in July was this 40.64 cm x 30.48 (16 x 12 in.) Seascape Sailboat Race.

 

These Ladies are Ready for Their Next Adventure

Lady Penelopie Teabottom, her pilot/companion Lady Agusta Elizabeth and their trust servant/mule Fortis Bos, make ready for their next adventure into strange and unknown lands.

"Lady P" is well known among the explorers of the world for her many successful expeditions. Yet only a select few, such as "Lady P," know she is also one of the World's greatest experts on poisons, truth serums and mind-bending potions. All of which have gained her high standing in the Los Lobos Executive Campaign Committee.

As her righthand woman, "Lady E," is responsible for the safety of Lady P. Being a crack shot, top notch pilot, daredevil driver and martial arts expert, Lady E is more than capable of handling most situations.

Having been with Lady P his entire life, Fortis Bos is both trustworthy and willing to lay down his life to protect her.

All three are metal pieces that I painted this century.
 

Marvel & Fantasy WIP's

Some of my WIP's, to right Bob-agent of Hydra, Luke Cage, 2 Skaven Blood Bowl Gutter Runners, Ultron and a Skaven Blood Bowl Linesrat. I the center back is an old Grenadier Aztec priest from a bit's box that I will probably paint up for my 1930's Pulp campaign. 

All are plastic pieces except the Aztec.
