HMG Hard Point

A Browning .30 Heavy Machine Gun is set up in a hard point defensive position. The bane of many an infantryman, the Browning cut a swath though those foolish enough to face its killing firepower. This is another fine metal piece from Pulp Figures.

The Dragon Lady controls a vast web of agents, criminals, and officials throughout China. To know her is to know one of the true secretive powers of Asia.

Madam Chang is a 28mm metal piece from Pulp Figures of Canada.

Light Infantry-Leader of the Infanty Assualt

The 1st and 2nd Light Infantry Battalions of Wurttemburg were the elite foot sloggers of the army.

These are 15mm Heritage figures. I painted these in the 1970's for my Grand Army, French Napoleonic Corps.

Skinners Horse-Guardians of the Raj

Throughout the 19th century the Raj relied on loyal native cavalry to protect the frontiers. Skinners Horse was just such a unit.

Armed with a carbine, sword and the deadly lance, Skinners Horse patrolled the frontiers and fought the enemies of Her Imperial Majesty.

These were some of my first colonial figures I painted, they were painted with old Testors oil paints in July 1976. They are "N" gauge scale from Jack Scrubby's Toy Soldier Factory in Cambria, California.

The More- the Deadly

Secret signals call forth reinforcements for the lizardman scout.

When the situation demands, a member of the leader spawning appears to guide in the destruction of the enemies of the Lizardman Empire.

All three pieces are metal skinks from Warhammer by Games Workshop.

The Scout

Fresh from the swamplands, the lizardman scout hunts for foes. Armed with poisoned darts, he kills with the stealth his role demands. Reinforcements are available if needed (and will appear in a future post).

High Seas Fleet Sortie

Early in the predawn hours the German Imperial High Seas Fleet sorties to challenge the British Grand Fleet.

Row upon row of dreadnoughts, battlecrusiers and support ships, the might of the German Empire at sea.

For years the officers of the Imperial Fleet has toasted "der Tag" (the Day) when they would challenge the British for supremacy of the sea...will this be der Tag?

These are 2400 scale metal ships from CinC. I painted them in the late 1970's.
