Alien Invaders, 1st Wave

The advance scouts of the 1st wave of alien invaders march on the unsepecting terrans. Armed with figthflly powerful blast weapons and the lack of human feelings these warriors are yet more terrors from the depths of space.
These are plastic 40K figures from Games Workshop.

Cavlary of the Raj on Patrol

Two squadrons of the 29th Deccan Horse, on patrol on the Northwest Frontier protecting the Raj. The dangers were quite real as more than twenty major campaigns during the reign of Queen Victoria were needed to secure the border. These are some old 25mm Minifigs I painted in the '80's.

Northern France, August 1914

Sauron the Warrior

The Dark Lord Sauron in all his fightening warrior glory. The miniature is based on the opening battle scene in the movie "Fellowship of the Ring." This excellent figure is from the Games Workshop LOTR range.

Yee Haa-Confederate Cavlary Advance

Horse Soldiers of the Army of the Tennesse advance on Union forces. A 12 pdr horse artillery piece gives close support. These are 15mm miniatures from the old Heritage Co. The trooper in the brown coat and black hat in the third photo, the one with the black beard, for fun is a likeness of me. I painted these in the 1980's.

Kapitän Richard Himmelskrieger und seine Luftsoldaten

Captain Skywarrior and his Air Soldiers are the elite air troops of his Sublime Majesties Air Service of the 2nd Reich. These are excellent 28mm miniatures from Pulp Figures and are usable for both late VSF or early Pulp games.

Finis

She is finally finished. Here are shots of the house before and after a shell hit. I got the idea for this project from a World War One photo. The picture showed a very nice house that from the front looked very normal. Then a rear shot showed the massive destruction caused be a large artillery round. It was a fun project and makes an interesting addition to my village.
