December '25 Painted Pieces

This diorama was the first of the December works completed.

Competed 69 pieces in December:

Game Terrain 41- Diorama of Twilight before Ragnarok. Christmas 6-Nuctcrackers. 40K 15- 1terminator officer, 2 terminator chaplains, 2 terminator standard bearers, 3 terminator heavy weapons & 7 Tyranid warriors. Fantasy 1- Lizardman war chief. Second World War 6- Medic's and wounded USAA personnel. 

Lizardman Lord Nsh'M-Csh'm was the last piece I finished in 2025.

Let's Have Lunch-as You're on the Menu

With a massive appetite, Lizardman Lord Nsh'M-Csh'm loves when adventures invade his home looking for treasures.

In fact, he leaves large amounts of coin and jewels conveniently lying around though out his castle.

These "jucy" tidbits are simple lures for the much tastier "tidbits" that come looking to steal them.

So far, he has successfully added to both his treasure and his larder from the very consistent stream of foolish thieves, adventurer's and outright fools who try to invade his Domaine.

On the Hunt for the Hive Mind

Few things in the universe are more fearsome than being attacked by the Hive Mind of the Tyranids.

Here we have two scout parties of their basic, yet still deadly, infantry units-Hormagaunts.

Always on the hunt for fresh "blood and flesh" to feed the hives needs...

Auntie's Back!

 

A recent photo taken by the famous under sea explorer Jack Cluesoo has been identified as the ghostly apparition of the missing heiress Lady I. B. Acksoon. Immediately after the photo was taken Cluesoo reported the candles burst into flame and the "Lady" and her chains vanished in a flash of blue light. Shortly thereafter, her nephew Rupert Greaddy, was found drowned face down in his favorite punch bowl with a still live octopus stuffed in his mouth. The local police say this is a clear case suicide brought on by depression due to his learning of the death of his beloved aunt.  The police dismiss witness statements that a trail of fresh seaweed and wet footprints found leading to the punch bowl, as well as a chain of rusty iron links wrapped around the body have nothing to do with Greaddy's death and the case is considered closed.  

"Lady I. B. Acksoon" is a plastic piece from the "Rise of Mologh" where she is actually one of the hero pieces.

Don't Mess with Steam Punk Femme Fatales

 Femme Fatales come in all shapes and sizes and those of the Steam Punk Era have their own form of deadliness.

Armor, firearms and a killer instinct are the hallmarks of Cassandra Drk'hart. (Privateer Press)

And who needs a firearm when you have a killer's eye with the blade as does the Baroness Natasha Shearpoint. (Pulp Figures)

Another affectionate believer in the use of blades is Anastasia Di Bray. (Privateer Press)

Verein Zoetekijken, on the other hand, trusts her beloved old...

belaying pin to make a sound impression. (Privateer Press)

Captain Sam (not Samantha d'mn you) Bogsdaughter prefers her solid Colt .44 revolver to make sure her commands are followed to the letter. (Pulp Figures)

Della Morte' also believes in her trusty six-shooter. (Pulp Figures)

Being a proper English Lady, Mrs. Elizabet R. Gates would never use any pistol that wasn't a Webly .455. (GDW)

Being a prim and proper daughter of a Minister, Lady Eugene de Witton, keeps her pair of pocket pistols discreetly hidden in her handbag. (GDW)

While she prefers her two-handed sword, Verde Morty, can aways rely on her two ivory handled pistols to settle any distasteful disagreement. (Malifaux)

Sonia Criid also prefers a sword, but hers is a burning blade, using secret petroleum distillates of her own design, to cut through any "red-tape." (Malifaux) 

Whereas the "Sea Witch" relies on "good old fashion Arcane Magics" to power her flame sword. (Monolith)

Chains and sword are a fine combination according to Arlymn Lytdncer, especially if you need to disarm/disable rather than eliminate your opponent.

Adventuress Extraordinaire, Lady Augusta Elizabeth Shutfuzze, uses good fashion sense and a .445 round, to make her mark in the World (Foundry)

Another user of the powers of the Arcane, and a good bottle of "Vino" to power her way through the World is the fierce pit fighter Onna Mnn Wtcch. (GW)

The Widow Wisty Widshipp has spent her time removing "upstructions" with her "Victrola of Soul Rendering." (Monolith)

Marie Laveau, the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans. uses her powers for the good of her followers. (Monolith)

Baronne Menace Cachee aka "Monstrecalamar" has unfortunately delved a little too deeply into the weird "Majic's of the Arcane." (Monolith)

                                                  

Miss Ilene Addlaar knows the best way to take down an enemy is with massive firepower. And the smoke-flames & KABOOM scares the k..p out of everyone else! (Monolith)

Madelyn Corbeau, the Courtesan, uses more of her womanly powers, and a vast knowledge of poisons and love potions, to rule her niche of the World. (Privateer Press)

And finally...

Where one is dangerous a whole regiment, such as this squad of the Crown Princess Michelle's Hussars, is a force few would wish to face. (Hinderland Figures)

The Monolith pieces are plastic all the others are metal and have been painted by me this century.

If Two Heard Are Better Than One-What's Six Worth?

Now these are monsters I can relate to, thinks the brave and cursed hoplite Hiktos Nuluk. Here he faces two offspring of the Cerberus the Guardian of Hades, Cerberus Secundus and Cerberus Tertius.

A battle royal, between one hoplite vs six vicious hounds, granted on only two bodies. All in a day's work for our cursed hoplite (to understand his curse, see World Historyprof: Brave Hiktos Nuluk Curse )
