When the Battle is Brutal Hand-to-Hand, Send in the "Battle Claws"

Terminator leader B'tll D'thh and his handpicked squad of battle brothers, is the first choice of his commander when the fighting is up close and brutal.

Armed with their power-driven battle claws, few galactic horrors can stand for more than a few moments before their armor and flesh is shredded into so much unrecognizable pulp. 

Their battle tested, and scared armor is mute testimony to the brutal fighting they have been through for the glory of the Emperor.

Blast from the Past - "Captain Mimi Rouge" (1 August 2011)

14 years ago, I introduced pirate Capt.. Mimi Rouge and her background story:

  Captain Mimi Rouge, while a tough leader, she is very generous in sharing her treasures with her crew. In a strange contrast the crew has also noticed that the captains temperament is sweet towards her crew but vicious and bloodthirsty towards her enemies.

 Her constant companion is the brightly colored Peppy. The crew believes that he is a good luck charm as neither he nor his master has ever been felled in battle. Her ability to "turn" what would appear to be serious or fatal wounds in combat is legendary. But perhaps the captains good luck and seeming invulnerability owes is its roots to some other means...

 Captain Rouge is careful not to let her true nature be known to but a few well-chosen companions.

 Those she trusts are allowed to see her as she truly is-the half-blood daughter of the most famous count of Transylvania.

 Her half-blood nature gives her the strength of her ancestor with the ability to travel in the both the worlds of day and night. Her crew is also lucky that Mimi's need for blood is less demanding than that of her sire.

 Captain Rouge is the metal 28mm piece Captian Sophie, Succubus from Reaper Figures. She is the new captain for the Black Pearl II (see "Did You Say Pirates" April 2010).

Red Dragon with Attitude

Sangusira is a young, bold, and aggressive red dragon with a major chip on her shoulder. Her parents just don't understand the needs of a teen (she has just entered her 13th decade) dragon to prove herself to her peers.

So, today is her first solo hunt, and woe to the man or beast she comes across for their blood shall be HERS!

Only then will her overprotective parents give Sangusira the freedom and respect she deserves. Now, where shall she begin her hunting...perhaps in that brightly lit town on the lake below.

Here a Goblin there a Goblin...

The standard guards of "Clan F'llsh" are the cruelest and strongest of their master's horde.

Sneaky, backstabber's all, they know that the true worth of a goblin is the ability to survive using any underhanded trick imaginable.

How else could these creatures rise to the standard guard, except upon the crushed backs of their competition.

Standing ceaseless watch,  A'shh, W'llo, C'dar and O'akk are anything but gentle "Forest Sprites."

Rather, they are "Forest Avenging Protectors!"

For those who threaten the peace and safety of their forest shall not live long to regret their misdeeds...

nor shall evidence of their very existence be easily found after their demise. You have been warned!

Da Bears Win-not a week too soon

 

Da Bears Win 44 to 14 vs the Cowboys! It took three weeks to win, but what a win. Now the next question is can they star a win streak? Here's hoping...

You're Corporal is a BEAR!

Meet Corporal Wojtek of the 3522 Polish 22nd Field Artillery Supply Company II Polish Corps, and yes, he is a bear and an official NCO. Before becoming a corporal, Wojtek, a Syrian Brown Bear, was adopted by his polish comrades while in Iran in the Spring of 1942. Originally a mascot, he soon learned to salute, march on his hind legs and carry supplies. He also enjoyed wrestling with the men as well as relaxing with the soldiers even to the point of leaning to smoke/eat cigarettes and drink beer. 

When his unit was ordered to Italy in early 1942, the only way to bring the now fully grown Wojtek with them was to enlist his as a private, with his own official identity number and pay book. At the Battle of Monte Cassino, he quickly learned to carry artillery ammunition cases to resupply the 25 pounder artillery pieces in the rough mountainous terrain. Not only did this free up the usual four men who were normally required to hand portage the heavy crates, the sight of Wojtek doing his bit to help his comrades greatly raised their spirits. For his tireless efforts, the brave Wojtek was promoted to corporal. After the war, Corporal Wojtek retired to the Edinburgh Zoo where his exiled former comrades would continue to visit him and bring gifts of beer and cigarettes until his death in 1963.

Steampunk Goblin Boss-H'll Yes

Mkkaa G'bbss is no stranger to the Steampunk world, but he does survive on the fringes,

He and his band are the bum in the night you heard in the factories, warehouses, and junkyards that abound in the Lands of Steam.

For that is how they survive on whatever they can find, rip-off, reuse and repurpose. It's enough to thrive on, if you're a goblin that is.

When angered Djinn K'zadn is a brutal killing machine.

Armed with his two-handed Axe Tenvith, K'zadn is able to cleave three humans with single blow. So, save safe and don't incur the wrath of this powerful Djinn!

Brothers With Force-Hammers

Dark Angels Terminator brothers Cl'vvs and Btt'hd are experts at destroying their enemies by crushing them with the force of their "Force-Hammers."

Nothing is as satisfying to them as the sound made by the cracking of a foes armor and the splintering of their bones.

As they are always at war with the enemies of the Emperor, there is no shortage of foes to smash, crush and mangle with the joyous accompanying sounds of their splintering armor and bodies.
