Armed with twin bolters, pistols and power swords the Raven Wing D'rgn Squadis a powerful unit of the Dark Angels Space Marines. 

Able to race across the battlefield at break-neck speeds, the D'rgn Squad is the perfect unit to respond to any crisis point...

as well as rundown broken units trying to escape the Emperor's wrath.

Up first is a Space Marines Dark Angles Heavy Weapons trooper.

Front to back: Tyranid Termagants and a Tyranid Prime, Space Marine office, six Koren War PVA heavy weapons soldiers, a Marvel Superhero and a large Djinn.

Death Causes Me No Fear

Death is a terror to most and hen he is in his war-gear he is an even more oppressive sight.

"Turn and cringe in terror at my sight little hoplite"

"Ha, I have faced the most fearsome monsters, demi-gods and even gods, you are but another in an endless line of horrors, why should I let fear stay my sword." says the defiant, brave and cursed Hoplite Hiktos Nuluk. "Do your worst!"

Death is a plastic piece from "Godtear" while Hiktos is a 25mm metal piece I painted in the 1970's from Ral Partha. I use him to show the scale of various large creature pieces I paint.

The Captain is Alway Victorious

With his foot firmly placed on the body of his latest conquest, Dark Angels Captain Vctrss Mgnss radiates the strength of his infamous Space Marine Chapter. 

The captain knows that this victory is only for the now, for in the war-torn universe of 40,000 there is never peace, just war or preparation for the next battle.

War always war, for the enemies ranged against the human empire are beyond count.

It is, therefore, the sworn duty of the captain and his men to fight and destroy these foes on countless planets and in limitless space.

To Captain Vctrss Mgnss, victory is not an option it is the only possible outcome if humanity is to survive. For death without mercy to his Emperors enemies is not just his duty, it is his only reason for existence!

Spiderman the Black-Suit

With his Black-Suit, Symbiote Spiderman becomes one with his "living costume."

Similar to the creature called "Venom,'" the symbiote black suit bonds with its wearer, considers itself "We" and grants addition superhuman strength to its new "partner."

This is a plastic piece I painted earlier this month.

March "25 Items Painted

A month late on this post, well it's been that kind of year...

Abomination was my first figure I painted in March. 

I painted 89 pieces in March:

Fantasy 17- 6 Uncommon Commoners, 6 Brute Warriors, 1 Tree Ent, 1 Styth Warrior Mage, 1Dwarf Steam-Machinist, 1 Morgan Witch and 1 "Bucher;" Beasts 1-Dinosaur; WWII 28- 18 USMC 28mm, 5 1/285 T34-85's and 5 1/285 M13/40's; Modern 30 weapons; 40K 2-Space Marines; Holiday 3- 1 Flapper pin and 2 12in. Nutcrackers; Canvas 1-  60.9cm x 45.7cm (24in x 18 in) water-color: 

                                                               "See Canyon at Sunrise."

These six USMC WWII pieces (Medium Mortar, Bazooka, two Flamethrowers and two Snipers) were the last ones I painted in March.

This Chaplin is Death to the Emperors Enemies

 

The destructive powers of faith in the Emperor has made the "B'lk Chaplain" of the Dark Angels feared thought out the galaxy.

He fears no foe, be they human, beast, alien, deamon or any of the other countless horrors that threaten the Empire. 

The never-ending war against these fearsome dangers has only increased his faith, skills and desire to utterly destroy these foes.

Ever vigilant, the B'lk Chaplin, knows that constant warfare is his only purpose in life. Indeed, what greater goal could one have than to crush the enemies of the Empire, "IN THE NAME OF THE EMPEROR WE WILL CONQUER!"

The B'lk Chaplin is a plastic piece I finished last night.

The Decay of Death has its Own Perfume

"Where is that horrific burning meat smell coming from?" mumbles our brave, cursed, and not too bright, hoplite Hiktos Nuluk.

"Perhaps you were referring to ME." announces Lich Mistress Ima Imorale' in a voice as dry as death. "Opps, I did it again," is the only thought that races through the hopilite"s mind as he readies himself for what is shaping up to be very painful battle.

Terminator with Missiles-Xenos Bane

Space Marines are "Super Humans," Terminators are Space Marine Elites and Terminator Missle troopers are just "Gilding the Lilly!"

Mc'Massrr is the name of this powerful Dark Angles Terminator. Countless decades of never-ending battle have honed his skills to a mastery that has rarley been known in the chapter.

When the battle is over it's time to reload and prepare for the next one...
