Aged in his Kings Service
Capitaine Jean Delcairis, Royal Netherlands East Indies Army, has spent the last decade in the Dutch colonies. Aged beyond his years, his hair prematurely grey while his face carries the scars and deep tan that are an unwanted bonus earned through years of active colonial service to king and country.
Capitaine Jean Delcairis is a 25mm metal piece made for the 1980's "Space 1889" game "Temple of the Beastmen."

Royal Netherlands East Indies Army
Throughout the latter part of the 19th century the KNIL, Royal Netherlands East Indies Army, was responsible for securty of the Dutch Asian colonies. In the early years the troops were made up of units of Europeans and units of colonials with European officers. Here we have a patrol of the former checking long lost ruins of some forgotten civilization in the outback of one of the colonies.
These are 25mm metal pieces designed by the old Game Designers Workshop in the 1980's. Richard gave me two boxes of them for Christmas, this is the second unit.

The Captain
Captain Theodore T. Timmons RN, has made his career of commanding some of the finest ships (in his opinion)in the fleet. A man of experience, good judgement and lucky (always a important trait), Captain Timmons, while nearing the end of his career, is still at the peak of his abilities.
Captain Timmons is a 25mm metal piece made for the "Space 1889" game "Temple of the Beastmen." He is also a good figure for any games from the late 19th Century to the Pulp Fiction 1930's era.
