When Horse Power Brought the Fuel

From the late 19th through the mid 20th centuries, horses moved oil products from the refineries to the consumer throughout the US. In fact horse drawn oil transport is still seen in some of the less developed parts of the World in the 21st century.

This vehicle and it's hardworking draft animals was in use with Standard Oil well into the 1920's.

This is a mostly plastic model from Lledo that I repainted an added some character to (like the hat on the drivers seat, cobblestone street and the horse droppings.
